Bethany College will expand its world language curriculum this year as two Fulbright Scholars spend the academic year on campus. Lyu-Wei Chen of Taiwan and Ghizlane Fadili of Morocco will not only teach courses, but will also learn more about life in the United States during their time in Bethany.
Bethany College’s Department of Business, Communications & Media Arts was recently selected as a new member of the National Communication Association’s Lambda Pi Eta Honor Society. The College joins more than 600 chapters across the nation dedicated to recognizing the work of outstanding communication students.
Contemporary writer and New York Times bestselling author Wiley Cash will speak at Bethany College Saturday, Oct. 3, at 10:30 a.m. as part of the Larry E. Grimes Lecture Series. The presentation is part of the College’s Homecoming Weekend.
Rev. Bernard “Chris” Dorsey, president of Higher Education and Leadership Ministries (HELM) of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), has been as announced as the speaker for Bethany College’s Fall Convocation on Thursday, Sept. 10. Dorsey will address incoming and returning students at 11 a.m. in Commencement Hall at the College's historic Old Main.
